Roper Mountain Student Volunteer Program

We’re looking for a team of motivated high school students aged 14 to 18 who love science and want the opportunity to engage in activities related to Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Robotics and Natural Science. Please note that 18 year old students must pass a background check.

To apply, complete the application (including health form, short essay and teacher recommendation) here by September 24th, and attend a mandatory training on Tuesday 9/18 or Thursday 9/20 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Roper Mountain Adult Volunteer Program

If you are interested in being part of our volunteer program, complete the form linked below (new and returning volunteers). A health form, short essay on why you want to be part of our program and a recommendation (first time volunteers only) are required. Additionally, all adult volunteers will be required to complete the Greenville County Schools "Volunteer 1" application (linked on the form and below). All items must be complete and submitted prior to volunteering.

Mandatory volunteer training is required. The next training is scheduled for Tuesday, October 9th in the Harrison Hall Auditorium from 4:30pm- 5:15pm. This is the last training for 2018. The next session will be scheduled for January 2019.
